Injury Assessment
This is a 60 minute appointment with the aim to to fully assess your injury, diagnose you and then receive some treatment there and then. This is followed by an exercise programme with tips and tricks to help you get better sooner. There is no pressure for you to come back for any further treatment sessions, it is on an individual basis and you will be advised on further treatment accordingly but you can see how it goes and get in contact again if needed. No sales.
Firstly, Sam will listen to you and the history of your injury/ condition. This is your chance to talk to Sam about your injury. For example what you find hurts it, whether you've had this injury before and if you've ever seen another health care professional about it. We’ll then complete a full injury assessment. This includes joint range of motion (flexibility), muscle and functional strength, balance, a postural assessment and gait analysis if needed. This will help Sam to diagnose your injury and identify the cause of the injury to prevent it from reoccurring.
Once we have a diganosis we will explain the diagnosis and the probable cause of the injury to educate you about your pain. We will then discuss how we can treat the injury to decrease pain, increase range of movement and stop the injury from reoccurring.
Medical Acupunture
Medical acupuncture involves using fine needles to stimulate specific trigger points, helping to release muscular tension and promote natural healing within the soft tissues. It is an effective approach for treating sports injuries, joint stiffness, and chronic muscle pain, as well as providing relief for persistent tension headaches. By calming the nervous system and improving local circulation, this treatment helps active individuals recover faster and return to their peak performance. Our goal is to provide a reassuring environment where you can find relief and regain your full range of movement without unnecessary stress.

Sports Massage

Sports massage uses targeted, hands-on techniques to ease tight muscles, improve flexibility and support your body’s natural recovery. Regular massage can help reduce soreness after training, prevent injuries, and keep your joints moving freely. It also calms the nervous system, lowers stress levels and leaves you feeling looser, lighter and more relaxed. This makes it a great choice for both active people and anyone dealing with ongoing aches and pains.
What Our Patients Say
Sam helped me prepare for my World Obstacle Championships. At the Start of the year I couldn't run and had issues with my hip and Hamstrings. His methodical manner is second to non. Not only did I get on the start line injury free and came 5th in the World in my 50-54 age Category.
Dean- June 2024
Sam was recommended to me, and I concur he has been excellent. We achieved everything we wanted to do. Some great health benefits and my mobility has improved so much, I feel ten years younger. With the vital help of Sam’s physio exercises I have been able to sustain my gym workouts and swimming sessions. Before our work together, I’d had to abandon swimming and my regular workouts were disrupted by recurring injuries. Now nine months injury free, and feel so good.
Brent- July 2025
Highly recommend Sam! Fantastic service. My husband has been seeing Sam for a few years. He suffered for years and years with bad back pain that left him unable to get out of bed on occasions, he saw various doctors and chiropractors but nothing changed until he started seeing Sam.
